Clear Voice Handheld Portable Speaker System
The Clear Voice Handheld Portable Speaker (Long Throw-Planar Magnetic Speaker) series is a collection of speakers designed specifically for long throw, speech transmission. Tailored with a frequency response that is perfectly match for the voice range, these portable speakers planar systems can transmit a live or prerecorded spoken message with near perfect articulation. Even at maximum volume, the sound remains absolutely clear and distortion is virtually undetectable.
The secret to the handheld portable speaker's exceptional performance is the planar driver. This highly efficient, full range speaker when used in a single driver configuration, has a frequency response from 180 Hz to 18 KHz. In addition, the diaphragm’s extremely low mass produces a lightning fast response which explains why these portable speaker systems have such exceptional clarity and intelligibility. With just one driver, the commanding power, throw distance, and vocal clarity from a single speaker is startling. When multiple drivers are used together in a single enclosure, the acoustical results are absolutely staggering.
The seven speakers in this series are all built around the same driver. The speaker’s model number indicates how many drivers are used in each unit. As more drivers are combined together, two significant performance characteristics change. The speaker produced greater volume and the dispersion pattern tapers down into a smaller, tighter area. With a tighter pattern and more available power, these speakers can produce a longer throw while maintaining their clarity and volume. Since the volume from planar speakers falls off at a much lower rate than conventional speakers, typically 1.5 dB for each doubling of distance, the potential working distance from the LT-PMS devices is unmatched by any other product.
Actual distance and SPL performance may vary from the distances listed as a result of adverse weather conditions, variable atmospheric conditions, variations in the physical terrain, and other unpredictable human factors.
ACV - Airborne Clear Voice - Aerial Broadcasting UAV
Airborne Clear Voice (ACV) systems are delivering ground breaking capabilities for UAV users who require real-time voice broadcasting payloads. Live broadcasts initiated from the drone’s control position allow law enforcement, search & rescue, or other safety personnel to communicate clear and commanding verbal or recorded messages to ground level listeners. When attached to an appropriately configured UAV flying at a 200 foot altitude, the ACV speaker can broadcast a highly articulate message beyond a ½ mile*.
The ACV payloads use the proven, long-range planar magnetic speaker technology (developed for and used by the US Military for over a decade) into a compact audio payload. Utilizing the power of the M2 transducer and leveraging it’s compact design, the M2 Vest Pocket speaker is an ideal tool for instructors, tour guides, security officers, military and law enforcement professionals who need to communicate with a group of people while keeping their hands free to perform other tasks. The M2-VP comes in a convenient pouch with a neck and waist strap for a comfortable and secure fit that weighs an approximate 2lbs. The M2-VP comes with a rechargeable battery and control pack that is worn on hip and has the input for the professional grade headset mic. The battery pack, on a full charge, can power the system for over 48 hours of continuous use. Designed from the ground up, the 2 Speaker Turbo dramatically expands the performance capabilities in the planar family of speakers. The all-weather enclosure is designed to IP-67 standards that can withstand the most difficult ecosystems while fulfilling the military specification 810G requirements for marine environments.
With enhanced amplification and specialized DSP circuitry, long throw distances will conservatively exceed 1,300 feet (400 meters). When powered by the rechargeable Turbo Pack, battery operation allows up to 20 hours in ‘STANDARD Mode’ and can be recharged in 5 hours.

Clear Voice MTM-1 Two-Way Planar Magnetic Speaker
The Clear Voice™ MTM-1 two-way planar magnetic speaker represents a technological breakthrough that delivers the stellar sonic qualities of planar technology in an ultra compact form. While the box is small... the sound is not! The three planar transducers generate a huge sound delivered with expressive details and powerful clarity. This combination of compact size and exceptional musical fidelity makes the MTM-1 an excellent choice for a wide range of installed or portable applications.
The MTM-1’s performance is expanded when matched with the companion SB-112C or SB-212C cardioid bass speakers. Combining the MTM-1 and SB components together creates a performance package suitable for a wide range of musical styles and genre by creating an equalized frequency response from 60 Hz to 19 KHz.
What makes the MTM-1 so exceptional? The answer resides in the two different planar magnetic transducers, the MAD-1 and the PT-3. Both devices are true push-pull planar drivers that have been positioned next to each other so that their acoustical energy sums together perfectly without any comb filtering, resulting in a very smooth and uniform dispersion in both the horizontal and vertical fields. In addition, these drivers have very low mass which makes their transient response incredible fast and distortion virtually undetectable.
Clear Voice SB-Series Cardoid Bass Loudspeakers
The Clear Voice™ SB-Series of Sub Bass speaker enclosures are designed for use with any of the A-8, A-9, and A-12 surface planar arrays or the MTM-1 two-way compact line array when significant bass output is needed between 50 and 200 Hz. When paired with the arrays, the SB speakers seamlessly matches the sonic clarity of the arrays with articulate bass and a very fast transient response. For applications requiring extended low frequency power and punch below 50Hz, our VFL series of sub-bass cabinets are the perfect match. Every SB speaker utilizes a proprietary cabinet design that passively produces a cardioid dispersion pattern resulting in nearly 20 dB of attenuation on the rear side of the enclosure. This reduction in low frequency energy significantly improves the sound clarity for those musicians and singers on stage who are located under or behind the arrays. SB-series enclosures can be arranged as ground stacks or flown arrays and are designed to be positioned adjacent to any configuration of arrays. Enclosures are built from 13 ply Baltic Birch wood and incorporates all necessary rigging hardware to attach multiple cabinet together. Rigging hardware that includes upper and lower grids for overhead flying and an adjustable rigging foot for ground stacking configurations are available as specified accessories.
Clear Voice VFL-Series Superb Subwoofer
From the beginning, our design strategy has been to use cutting-edge technology to create the finest sounding loudspeakers. The VFL-Series of subwoofer speakers continues this tradition of producing stellar sound, even from the ultra low frequencies... sounds that typically have been treated as being useful for only “thump, punch, n’ boom”. While this is an important requirement in contemporary music, there is also musical detail and color that needs to be clearly heard and felt. The VFL series includes two models, each using a single 18” driver; the VFL horn-loaded enclosure and the compact VFL-jr. front-load, vented enclosure. The VFL’s horn-loaded design produces exceptionally high SPL output, which is characteristic of this enclosure. The added benefit is the exceptional sonic clarity, definition and uncolored quality of sound. The VFL sub is ideally suited for touring or installed systems where high output and sonic clarity must be heard as well as felt.
The VFL-jr. packs the same exceptional sonic detail, power, and ultra low distortion levels that are found in it’s big brother into a very small box. With its small and compact footprint, the VFL-jr. become an excellent choice for touring or installed systems where LF performance cannot be sacrificed and the cabinet’s physical dimensions must remain small enough to fit into shallow or confined spaces such as under the stage. Both speakers are constructed from 13 ply Baltic Birch. The VFL has a tuff dura-tex finish and stacking rails to facilitate stable assembly of subwoofer arrays. The VFL-jr enclosures can be finished with custom colors or with the dura-tex surface.
